You said I must eat so many lemons,
'cause I am so bitter.
I said I'd rather be with your friends mate,
cause they are much fitter
me.
I kick asses.

the moment of truth[ 12:22 PM ]
In the spirit of blogging about current events, let's discuss that show on Star World: The Moment of Truth. I was just watching the supposedly-most controversial episode of the show last night, and i was blown away by the level of intimacy of these questions. For example, "do you think you might have been in love with your ex-boyfriend on your wedding day?" or "Have you ever had sexual relations with anyone else besides your husband since your marriage?" I mean seriously, these are horrible questions to ask ANYONE. I felt so sad for the lady on the hot seat, but the answers that she was delivering were making things even worse.
And what i really want to know is what would actually make people come on this show? They are risking the relationships they have forged throughout their life, for money. Is it really worth losing the love in your life for that money? Someone close to me actually told me that he would go on this show for the money even though relationships that he might have with others might end for this money. It's so sad to hear that, but im just wondering how many more of such people exist in this world. For the record, i would too. But that's only because my truths aren't bad enough for me to deny confronting them in front of others.
